In the last few years, CB Impact has worked with over a dozen corporate groups and foundations and done about 40 studies of social and environment-focused programmes as an independent entity.

The primary questions that CB Impact seeks to address while evaluating a social programme include:

Did the programme make the impact that was theorised before it was begun? (Who benefitted, how, and what’s the evidence?)
What are the perceptions of the direct and indirect beneficiaries?
Are there any unidentified challenges that could not be addressed?
Did implementing partner/agency deliver the output as committed?
Is the project in sync with the government’s initiatives and does it complement the sustainable development goals (SDGs)?
Can it be scaled up? Should it be scaled up?
What is the sustainability quotient of the project?
What is the actual social return on investment received?
